Kristin Vollrath enjoys painting since her early childhood. Her primary techniques are oil and soft pastels. Motives are mainly landscapes based on her own photography. She tends to change colours to give the painting a timeless character or to create a certain atmosphere. After several local exhibitions in Germany, especially in her teenage years, she realized her first solo exhibition in Zurich in 2020
